My son was injured at daycare requiring dental work. Is the daycare responsible for the out of pocket expense for his dental bill?

The day care center owes a duty of due care. A child of under 7 is not charged with negligence. The facts would disclose if you child is entitled to compensation. You should see a lawyer to investigate. This would be a no fee consultation.
