What is a Survivors deed?

Survivorship in a deed is a type of ownership between two or more persons such that upon death of one or more of the grantees of the deed the survivor(s) are vested with ownership. A property interest held in survivorship with another is a present vested interest but does not become a probate asset upon the death of one of the grantees.
