Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in West Virginia
wills
My father passed away in Feb. in WV. To date, his widow has not filed the death certificate with the county/state. My brother and I, according to my father's attorney, have a trust fund that my dad established, but we cannot receive until the death certificate has been filed.
Is there a statue of limitations regarding filing a death certificate?

Re: wills
No Statute of Limitations, but if I had a trust fund, I would find someone in WV to get a copy of the death certificate and file it. I bet a lawyer could do this for a reasonable fee.
