Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in West Virginia
Wills statute of limitations
Is there is a time limit as to contest a will in West Virginia. Shouldn't the wife automatically get the inheritance?

Re: Wills statute of limitations
All jurisdictions have time periods to contest a will. Virginia's is six months to one year from the entry of the final decree or order of probate, depending upon the status of the contester in the matter. West Virginia's time period to contest a will is probably quite similar to Virginia's.
