Legal Question in Disability Law in Wisconsin

Terminated because of Disability

I worked for a very large company for over ten years. I have been diagnosed with PTSD and receiving Social Security. I was on short term disability through the company. Ten days before long term disability was to start I was forced back to work. I cannot do my job now because of memory problems associated with the PTSD. I was terminated because of it. The Union is still working on getting my long term disability approved for me but not helping much. I have spoken to several attornies and can't find anyone who will help me. Why can't anyone help me, and where can I go for help other than the ADA, they couldn't help me either. My doctor says no work, and her nurse said if I got an attorney, she would gladly testify that the company is harrassing me. What the doctor says doesn't mean anything to the company-they base their decision on her notes alone. Before I was terminated, I was constantly being bothered by the company's disability office and hindering any progress I was making-being upset all the time. That went on for a year and a half.... Help!
