Legal Question in Banking Law in Wisconsin
Credit Card
My credit card company raised my interest to 30% which forced me to stop paying on it and enter debt settlement. They obtained a judgement against me from the National Arbitration Forum, who they pay. Now they have summoned me to court to affirm award. I am defending myself, but I currently have not raised enough money to pay it. They have offered to settle for 50%, but again, I do not have the money at this time. What are my options?

Re: Credit Card
What is the total balance?
Are you currently earning income (that could be garnished etc.)?
If appropriate I could assist you in negotiating a % payoff for less than amount due.
This would billable.
