Legal Question in Banking Law in Wisconsin
deceased husbands bank account
My husband passed away last
October. He had one personal
checking account with a very small
amount of money in it. The savings
and loan in question says in order for
me to close out this account I need a
''Domiciliary'' letter from a lawyer.
What is this and how do I get one?

Was there a will? If not you will need to have a local PROBATE atty draft document for you.
