18 Year Old Jugdement & Bankruptcy
I have a civil judgement from 1992, which is now at $15,000. Will bankruptcy get rid of it?

Unless it's for injuries caused by intoxicated operation of a motor vehicle, you should be able to discharge it completely through Chapter 7, or get most or all of it discharged through Chapter 13 (you would be stuck with having to file under Ch. 13 under the new law if you're not eligible to file Chapter 7 for any reason, such as you filed Ch. 7 within the past 8 years or you earn too much above the average mean income for your area).
