Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Wisconsin
big bill
We filed bankuptcy in 2005 and didn't include a bill at that time. Now we are unable to pay it off. Can the business go after our home or vehicals? If we pay 'something' every month, can he do anything legally against us? If we give a larger payment, can we demand it be put on principal vs interest? If we didn't pay anything until we could file again, what could happen? Garnish wages? Thank you for any help.

Re: big bill
I don't understand why you don't ask the attorney who filed your banktuptcy for you. Though you may have inadvertently left that creditor out of your filing matrix, chances are that debt was still discharged in your bankruptcy, provided you made a good-faith effort to include all your creditors at the time. You should be able to provide that creditor your case number and date of filing and discharge, and tell them to go fly a kite. Call your bankruptcy lawyer about this ASAP!
