Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Wisconsin
i forgot to add a creditor to my chapter 7 no asset bankruptcy in wi. do i need to reopen my case or was the debt discharge anyway? can you help
1 Answer from Attorneys
If your case has been completed, the debt will not automatically discharge as the creditor was not given notice of your bankruptcy. If your case is ongoing, you may be able to amend the creditor matrix (depending on where you are in the process). You should consult with your bankruptcy attorney regarding the matter.
