Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Wisconsin

Can I not Involve my separated spouse

My wife and I have been separated for two months. I am considering filing either chapter 7 of chapter 11. Do I have to involve my spouse, even though we have not filed for divorce yet? Can I file for bankruptcy and not affect her credit? Will she have to attend the hearings?

Bankruptcy pending divorce

You can file bankruptcy under Chapter 7 or Chapter 12 (if you are a farmer), Chapter 13 (if you are a consumer), Chapter 11 (if you are proprietor of a large business enterprise which needs reorganization - minimum cost $250,000) but it generally is not advisable to file bankruptcy unless you are in danger of losing property through repossession or garnishment.
