Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Wisconsin
Lawsuits Discharagable
I was attacked by a woman who caused personal injury to me. She was charged with assault & battery. If I sue her for pain & suffering in court..and if I won a settlement could she file bankruptcy and get it discharged?

I do not believe that you would lose your settlement because of a bankruptcy. The bigger
issue is getting a jury to award you anything for
pain and suffering and a lawyer to take your case.
