What is the normal fee for filing Bankruptcy?
To Whom It May Concern-
I would like to know what the usual fee is for filing Bankruptcy. The law firm I am trying to go through is trying to charge me 1000.00. I think that is ridiculous. I would appreciate any information that you could give me on this topic. Thank you.

The going rate in SE WI is about $700, plus expenses,
but that can vary depending upon the complexity of
the case and travel distances involved. What
