Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Wisconsin
Being sued by my credit card company
I have 30,000 in credit card debt. I received a summons recently. I also owe the irs 8,000 over the last 4 years. I'm an independant contractor making 50,000 a year! Seems I can't get caught up ever?
Do I sound like a chapter 7 candidate?

Re: Being sued by my credit card company
Honestly, I have no idea, as I don't practice Bankruptcy law, but I would strongly recommend making an appointment to speak with a bankruptcy attorney. Most of them offer free consultations. Speak with one who does, find out what they have to say, and you will get a much better answer than you could ever get from this kind of forum.
Good Luck to you. Perhaps another Attorney could better answer you question based on the facts here, but I cannot.
