In Wisconsin, all property of the marriage must be considered in a divorce. While it is not likely that a judge would give one spouse an interest in a business owned by the other, a judge would give the other spouse property of equivalent value. If there wasn't enough of such property, a judge may put a lien on the business and require you to repay your ex over time. In any event, it is valued and the value is somehow divided. If an asset is hidden in a divorce, it may be given entirely to the other party.
