Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Wisconsin

Civil

I went to court on a bill that was owed. St Vincent Depaul said that they would pay this bill but the attorney for the bill collector would not take the money. When i went to court the judgement was $390.05 and i was told to wait for a letter in the mail. Now this attorney wants to garnish my wages for $567.74. Can they do this?

Re: Civil

You should be able to get the information from the attorney as to how the $567.74 was determined. There is usually an amount for attorney fees, costs and interest that may be added to the judgment amount.
