Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Wisconsin

My husband and I were handcuffed on property that we had quick deeded over to the bank. We still had a key and were making numurous trips to get our belongings and the bank new we were. They had three police officers come to the house on one of those visits. The police handcuffed us, took us to the jail house where they took mug shots, finger printed and given what they said a mandatory breathalizer even after I told them I hadnt had a drink in 5 years. We remained in lockup for 40 hours. Our rights were never explained to us or what the charges were. When we stood before the judge all shackled and in orange he wasnt sure what to charge us with and told us to come back on may 3rd. May 3rd was later changed to June 7th. I have left a message with the DA's office inquiring why the change in date and what the charges were. No one hs returned my call. I feel our civil rights were violated. what can I do?
