Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Wisconsin
I live in the State of Wisconsin. Two days ago I received a flyer in the mail with names and addresses of my neighbors including myself. It stated whether we voted or not. I felt this is an invasion of privacy to mail out info to everyone in a 3 block radius with names and addresses. I realize this is public knowledge but why mail out into to everyone.

I do not think think that what was done was illegal, as apparently this information was publically available. I understand that there has been quite a bit of discussion about this issue, in that many citizens recieved such a flyer, often with incorrect information. This obviously relates to the contested and highly partisan recall election of Wisconsin's Governor Walker.
