Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Wisconsin
prescription drugs
My son recently dislocated his knee while hunting, he was in pain, had no pain relievers and asked my husband for something. My husband said go get something out of my truck and my son took a couple Relafen (presciption NSAID) of which he swallowed two and had two left for later and then got stopped by police for something and they saw the pills and he said he had gotten them from his dad. Is my husband at risk for being fined for anything if he says yes he gave them to our son because technically my son took them himself but the cops said it would go easier on him if his dad had given them to him. OUr son is 20. I don't want my husband to say he gave them to him and then turn around and be charged with dispensing a prescription but if it helps our son by telling the police that they came from him and not that he had purchased pills from someone else he would do that.

Re: prescription drugs
I would suggest that you consult with a criminal defense attorney to obtain information as to any criminal implications which could result to both your son and/or your husband.
