Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Wisconsin
Septic vs. City sewer
11 years ago I was annexed into the City. I haven't received any City services until this year, I finally received garbage pick-up. My septic is going bad and needs to be replaced. The City wants to extend the main to my property which will cost about $17,000.00. When I was first annexed my taxes tripled, but I received NO City services. Can I take any action against the City to get them to pay for extending the sewer main to me, since I have been billed for services I never recieved - i.e. tax increase?

Re: Septic vs. City sewer
Do you have a copy of your tax bills since you moved handy? Also, can you please explain more fully what the city wants to do and who exactly asked you for $17,000? And what city are we talking about by the way? Thank you.
