Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Wisconsin

Hi, I am a student in a public high school in wisconsin and was wonderin, the school just passed a new policy that puts everyone in the hallways after the bell rings in the tardy room, I don't have a problem with getting to class on time but if I have early release because I am a senior and after my last class I have to walk a long distance to get my stuff in my locker and I have to leave my jacket in there because it is prohibited to wear a jacket in school, then I end up about 15 seconds short of leaving the doors and leaving school before the bell rings, Can they force me and make me stay in the tardy room for another hour even if I have early release and im not even supposed to be in school anymore? thank you

Here is a practical suggestion: why don't you ask the administration for a "hall pass" or other piece of authorization which shows you are supposed to be on early release and are not tardy for the next class?
