Legal Question in Technology Law in Wisconsin
e-mail fraud
Please help us. My daughter had her books stolen from her locker by a girl who used to be her friend. We reported the theft to the liason officer at her school. In the mean time, my daughter remembered the password to this girls e-mail account and found a letter in this girls recycle bin admitting how she had taken everything. Both girls are l6 years old. We gave this evidence to the liason officer, he in turn took our evidence, said MY daughter wrote the letter, charged us with obstruction of an officer. We went to court over this and the judge is siding with the liason officer. My daughter is being charged as a juvenile delinquent for a crime she did not commit. What can we do? We can't believe this has happened.

Re: e-mail fraud
The letter file should have the date/time it was created and related information under the "properties" box - right click. Perhaps that information will point to the person who created the Email in question and away from that person who did not.
