Constitutional Convention

When the states petition the Congress to call a Constitution Convention, how are the delegates chosen? Are they members of Congress, appointed by Congress, or elected by the states?

Re: Constitutional Convention

The Constitution doesn't say how the delegates would be selected. Presumably they would be chosen by the states since the framers most likely envisioned a process like the one that brought them together. This is really a political question more than a legal one, and I doubt the courts would intervene if a dispute arose about the selection process.
