Legal Question in Consumer Law in Wisconsin
Jurisdiction & Venue
Can a business restrict lawsuits filed against it by stating in the contract that venue and jurisdiction will be limited to their home office State even if the company does business with clients nationwide?

Re: Jurisdiction & Venue
In the business world, contracts specifying
venue and applicable law of a particular state
are generally enforceable, although such contracts may
sometimes be set aside on public policy grounds.. In some states, such
contracts can conflict with the consumer code. I would
need a lot more detail on exactly what sorth of contract this
was to assist further.
