Legal Question in Consumer Law in Wisconsin
Product receipt by error
A package is mailed to a consumer. The consumer didnot order the package. Is the consumer obligated to pay for the mdse? I am aware that the company needs to cover the postage to have the consumer mail the package back-but, if the consumer chooses to keep the mdse can the company pursue collection?

Re: Product receipt by error
Was it "unsolicited"? Was it a mistake? If you have entered any contests recently, you may have agreed ( by entering) to receipt of merchandise.
I would need to review accompanying written materials to determine your liability.
Is the merchandise of more than nominal ($5-10) value?
