Legal Question in Consumer Law in Wisconsin
Unable to cancel paid services, even after death...
I am an employee of the company in question. Their treatment of our clients is what concerns me.
The issue is that the contract allows for cancellation of services for only the first 3 days of membership, and then continues indefinitely.
Put simply, one is unable to permanently discontinue payment to the company under - not only if the services are not needed any longer, but under any circumstances. In effect, even after death.

From the brief facts given, such a contract is legally unenforceable due to "vagueness" more or less. Your company is definitely opening itself up to lawsuit for such unfair business practices from the sounds of things so far. For a free phone consultation, contact us directly.
