The good news, however, is that a chapter 13 bankruptcy can get your car back, so long as it is filed before the bank resells the car and you resume payments through an approved chapter 13 plan. You will also be required to prove that you have purchased your own auto insurance, including comprehensive coverage for damage to teh vehicle.
