Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Wisconsin

Judgement

I have had a judgement issued against me, and am supposed to go to court.. I have sent a letter to the attorney that all my paperwork is on another state and I was planning on going to get it the end of the month.. I don't have what the supeona ordered me to bring.. is there anything I can do? I don't want to have my wages garnished or file bankruptcy when there is a chance that this can be handled within the next 2 months. I have been out of work for 2 yrs because of an on the job injury.

Re: Judgement

You should contact the attorney who issued the

subpoena to see if you can reschedule. If not,

you should appear and explain what happened on the

record. Unless the attorney makes other arrangements

with you, you must appear.
