If you have problems with collectors, whether for online loans or other loans, my advice is that you immediately make an appointment for a consultation with a bankruptcy attorney. Such debts may be completely dischargeable in bankruptcy, provided that there is no evidence that you tried to defraud the lender. You have not given me any information as to why your checking account was closed; usually that occurs due to having too many NSF checks or other overdrafts. Your agreement with your bank no doubt entitles them to apply any deposit, including deposit of your loan proceeds, to such charges. My comments in this online forum are offered for public educational purposes only and are not legal advice, nor do they create any attorney/client relationship between us. Even if I were advising you, the background information which you provided did not include sufficient detail to allow any sort of reliable advice upon which you should rely. Finally, I may be able to represent you if you contact my Racine office and make arrangements formally retain me. I represent clients throughout the state of WI.
