Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Wisconsin

Small Claims Court judgement

My Company received a monitary judgement in our favor in the amount of $3100. The company that was ordered to pay was given 15 days to pay or submit a financial disclosure. It has been over a month and we have received nothing. I have filed an execution of property to be served by the sheriff's department. Is there any other legal ways we can enforce the Commissioners order of Financial disclosure or payment? Thank you!

Collecting Small Claims Court Judgment Against a Business

There are numerous "post judgment" enforcement procedures in addition to the one you mention. However, collecting from a trouble corporation can be difficult, particularly if that company's bank has a properly perfected lien against all the assets of that company. If so, your judgment may be junior in priority to the bank's lien and hence uncollectable until after the bank is paid in full. If you are serious about collecting this amount, refer the case to any of the numerous business collection lawfirms in your area. Many will accept the case on a contingent fee. Good luck!
