Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Wisconsin

Summons

I was served a summons to appear in small claims court out of the state that I live in. The summons does not state my name as the defedant but a company name that I was employed at. My signature is on sales contracts for equipment that was purchased from plaintiff. If I don't appear can the court hold me personally responsible for the debts that the summons indicate?
