Yes, anyone who defaults on court ordered obligations, particularly if they are a condition of probation or future court review hearing, would end up in serious trouble. The bench warrant or probation apprehension warrant which would result shows up on law enforcement data bases state wide and even will show up nationally. Even if it involved a misdemeanor case, you would likely be held for some weeks in custody until WI decided not to extradite following any law enforcement contacts out of state. If you are still out on bond, you could also be charged with bail jumping, which exposes you to twice the maximum jail and other penalties of your original crime. Your best bet is therefore to deal with this problem, with guidance from your attorney. If you don't have an attorney, you definitely need one now!
