Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wisconsin

I was accused of procuring alcohol from a gas station with a fake id, two police officers then proceeded to find where I was and request permission to talk to me I denied and said nothing. I then received two citations in the mail for underage consumption and procuring or attempting to procure. Is this legal of them to assume it was me without having a conversation with the officers and or taking a Breathalyzer?

Yes, it is legal for them to assume anything suggested by circumstantial evidence and charge you accordingly, but it is also likewise legal for you to fight the case. One thing for certain, however, is that you will be found guilty if you do not protect your rights by fighting a weak case, best done with the assistance of an experienced criminal lawyer.
