No physical evidence of any kind is absolutely required for a conviction of a crime. If the testimony of the witnesses for the State convinces the jury of the guilt of the accused, the conviction will almost always be upheld on appeal. If you are the person accused here, then you should get a good criminal defense attorney immediately, if not sooner. If you cannot afford counsel, telephone the Public Defender in your county and find out if you qualify for the services of that office.
