Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wisconsin
No contact order
As a victim, what steps can I take to get a no contact order lifted. I was told that because my boyfriend was sentenced to 15 months initial confinement, that the no contact order does not apply until he is released. The Judge said that we can have contact but with my permission and his probation agents permission. Well he won't be assigned an agent until he is about to be released and I can't wait that long

Re: No contact order
I'd recomend great caution in doing anything
which could violate the conditions of his
sentence. He could end up getting new
charges and more time. If I were representing
either you or him, I would get a court order clarifying
the situation prior to your proceding to visit.
