Conviction

is it possible to seal or expulge a misdemenor conviction from 2002? If so what do i need to do to get this going? its preventing me from geting employment

You mean "expunge" the conviction? Well, you need to have been no older than 21 years of age at the time of the conviction, and it can't be a conviction for anything worse than a misdemeanor. If your situation failed either of those two criteria, then you're out of luck in Wisconsin (sorry). Except, of course, you can try to see about getting the governor's pardon board to grant you clemency, but you better have at least ten years between you and that conviction (and several high-profile civil recognitions and/or accomplishments under your belt since the date of your conviction) before you even think about spending the money and time for that.
