Disorderly conduct for breaking a window in my own house.

How can it be possible for me to get a disorderly conduct for breaking property in my home? Well what happened early one morning i got in a fight with my mother and in a fit of anger i punched out a window my mom did not press charges or anything, but somehow I can get a disorderly conduct ticket. I just find this bogus being told i was disorderly in my own home.Please respond to this the best you can. thank you

The final decision on whether or not the charge is bogus would be made by a judge or a jury. Unfortunately, Disorderly Conduct is not very difficult to prove. It can require as little as unreasonably loud conduct under circumstances likely to provoke a disturbance. Ownership of property damaged is not an element of the crime.

Often, however, a good attorney will be able to negotiate a reduction or dismissal in a situation like this, depending upon your prior record.
