Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wisconsin

I was on the experience project and had some sexual chat/email to a woman whose profile said she was 18-21. Her father found the profile and it turns out she was 15. I had no idea. Other times when I found an underage girl on the site I blocked them. She had nude photo's on the site. I deleted my profile and put a filter on my computer to prevent any garbage from happening again. But am I going to jail.

You urgently need to retain an experienced criminal lawyer to advise you in this matter, and would be wise not to discuss this further in public web forums (since anything you say here can be used against you in court). Having nude photos of a 15 year old is a major felony and computer hard drives can be seized by authorities in any sort of criminal investigation. Even deleted items can be easily recovered from it. It may help that you have cut off all contact and taken other appropriate steps now that you know the true age, but even better advice would be not to have erotic chats with anyone who you do not personally know well, nor download their photos, since this could certainly happen to you again if you do not cease this behavior. In WI, lack of knowledge of the victim's age is not a defense in sexual misconduct cases. My comments here are intended to apply to similar situations commonly faced by many, but not particularly to your case, and are offered for public education only. You should therefore consult with your own lawyer or consider retaining one. Since I am not yet your attorney, I will not be taking any action on your case, but you are welcome to contact me with further questions at my Racine, WI office at 262-633-3090, or email me at [email protected].
