Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wisconsin
Can someone get extrodited back to Wisconsin from Iowa on a domestic disorderly conduct a class b misdemeanor
1 Answer from Attorneys
Yes, but extradition is unlikely for most misdemeanors. That fact will not prevent you from being arrested and held for a formal decision and response from WI every time that you have contact with any law enforcement center, however, to say nothing of brand new WI charges (including potentially extraditable felonies) if your failure to appear in court is also a violation of your bond. Do yourself a favor and have your WI lawyer schedule a voluntary surrender date for you instead, and deal with the charges now rather than later. Later can include the rest of your life, so it is not worth it to ignore this matter.
