know nothing about legal issues
if charges get dropped on felony child abuse, domestic violence and disorderly conduct, is there any way to get that removed from my brothers record. his wife, soon to be ex- wife, brought these charges after he said he was going to file for divorce. he has a clean record. he is 35 and 8 yrs military, prison guard and transporter, work history. he has never been in trouble with the law

I'm sorry to have to tell you that there is no way to "expunge" an arrest or court record of events for adults over 21, even if charges are dismissed (even if the dismissal is on the prosecution's motion).
Removing Dismissed Charges from a Record, Expungement
If your brother was truly cleared of all charges, there is a procedure for having them removed from court records if there is a good reason for removal due to occupational problems the records are giving him. It is far from simple, however, it is sometimes even possible to get fingerprint records returned. Of course, even if the records appear but with a clear indication of innocence they should be explainable to potential employers, etc. You should retain a lawyer to assist you with this if you are unfamiliar with court procedures.
