Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wisconsin
I live in Minnesota but charged in Wisconsin Need help
To whom it may concern,
I'm a residence in the state of Minnesota but I'm being charged with 2 counts of criminal destruction of property as a party to a crime and two counts of theft as a party to a crime. One of my friends is going to plea guilty to all the charges since he was the one who did everything without me or the other passenger's knowledge. I was the driver of the vehicle. The police didn't find the stereo's that was stolen by my friend in the vehicle because he had threw them away before he got in the car. I am currently out on a $2000.00 dollar bail. The public defender's office says that I don't qualify for their services since my car is valued at $10000.00. I'm having trouble finding an attorney in the Wisconsin Area to help me with my legal issues. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks,

I would be more than happy to represent you. The prosecution would need to prove that you had knowledge of the stolen goods or somehow assisted with them. You should really refrain form discussing all this on the internet.

If you are being charged with a crime in Wisconsin, the you need to consult with a Wisconsin lawyer, not a Minnesota lawyer. Good luck.
