Alcohol to become intoxicated...

I have not seen this on the web yet, but the answer is different from state to state, because the term "legally intoxicated" is defined differently by state. The limit, sometimes quoted as "BAC" (Blood Alcohol Content) is also age dependent, in that many states have a different threshold for minors.

The other major parameters are weight, gender, the amount of food consumed, and when the food was consumed. There is a computer program called "EZ-ALC" which is shareware, to compute the BAC in a person given all the relevant circumstances. Keep in mind that the BAC varies as a function of time, based on the body's ability to absorb alcohol and to "burn it off". The BAC can vary significantly from person to person, which is why the states attempt to measure the BAC through either a blood test, or to approximate the BAC by measuring the breath of a suspect with a "breathalizer". With all this in mind, I doubt you will find a simple chart, and if you do, you probably will not trust what it says...

Charts of drinks and intoxication

I agree with the previous post. You might look at Fast Eddie's site. He is one of the premier DUI defense experts in the country. You can find his site by using a search engine, I don't have the address handy, and looking for DUI + lawyers. Good Luck!
