Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wisconsin
Can a probation officer require an offender to travel 60 plus miles to attend a treatment program in wisconsin
1 Answer from Attorneys
Yes, if that is the only adequate facility available, the PO can require some travel for treatment, but your attorney is also free to propose a different one. If the requirements of probation are too burdensome, one always has the option to self revoke and serve the possible jail alternative sentence instead.
