You need an attorney in this matter, since operating in violation of your occupational license hours is a criminal charge for which you could receive a jail sentence in addition to additional loss of your driver's license. With an OWI on your record, you have a double risk of facing a five year revocation as an habitual traffic offender. You may have a valid defense to the charge but are not likely to succeed in asserting it on your own in Waukesha County. In my experience, representation by an experienced criminal lawyer in that particular county is extra important, since the DA's office is rarely willing to negotiate directly with defendants who are unrepresented. Please be aware that I am not yet your attorney and will not be taking any action on your case, although you are welcome to contact me during business hours at my in Racine if you still have more questions.
