My 3 yr old daughter was sexually assaulted by a 15 yr old boy (he will be 16 in March). What are the laws re: obtaining a restraining order against a minor?

I believe that you could easily obtain the restraining order in this situation. Depending upon which county you are in, you may even be able to pick up forms at your clerk of court's office and do this yourself. It is probably far more important, however, to make sure that the authorities are aware of this situation and that the perpetrator receives appropriate intervention from the system. The monitoring he will receive that way will likely be far more effective than your restraining order.
