Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wisconsin

I have served five years on probation for a felony(distribution) and just got off recently in milwaukee,WI. During this time I ave gone to school and obtained my associate degree and have done community service. I have a great resume with excellent letters of recommendation, but no company will give me a chance. Is it too early to try to get a pardon or how do I go about doing this????

Sorry, but it is far too early for you to attempt to get pardoned. The governor's pardon board generally will not even look at a pardon request if at least ten years has not passed since the completion of the sentence that was imposed. Now, that does not mean that there are exceptions to this rule, but they are few and far between (exoneration through DNA evidence, etc.). You need to accomplish some things in the next ten years, in addition to getting the degree. A long record pf volunteering to do a lot more community service, for example, is one thing you need, if a pardon is something you�re seriously looking to request in the future
