Sexual Assault of a 15 Year Old
I would never evaluate your chances of winning such a case without a thorough investigation. Uncorroborated testimony by a victim is often sufficient to convict is WI, although the DA will probably be willing to negotiate if that's all they have. Your lawyer can attempt to impeach the witness at trial and demonstrate her unreliability, but this is far from a sure thing. The judge may not allow all the information on her past history to be heard by the jury, under the WI Rules of Evidence.
