Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wisconsin
sex offender rights
My Husband has worked for this company for 4 years and are now saying they are reveiwing him and saying that he nay be determinated due to his past that was over 10 years ago...is that legal can they do that?..Isn't that discrimination?

If he has a written employment agreement that permits it, or if he is what we call an "employee at will," meaning he has no written agreement with the employer-company, it's perfectly legal, as long as it is not for discriminatory purposes. If it is due to his race, religion, sex, or any other statutorily-defined illegal basis of discrimination, then it is of course against the law.
