Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wisconsin
Shoplifting
I'm 13 years old. Straight A Student. This is my first offense. I shoplifted 90 dollars worth of merchandise from walmart. What should I plead? What will happen at the hearing? What can I do to make the fine smaller?

Juvenile Court Shoplifting Charges Against 13 Year Old
At age 13, you entitled to a free public defender to represent you in juvenile court. Take advantage of that right and get an experienced attorney as soon as possible. There are many options for those who are your situation with no record, such as hold open arrangements which will avoid any conviction if you stay out of trouble. Good luck!
