underage drinking and possession of pararphanalia
A month ago i was arrested for underage drinking and possession of a metal pipe. My 21st birthday is in two weeks. The court date is next week. I will be 21 on Oct. 1st. Do I need A lawyer and what can I expect to happen to me in court?

Being age 20, you have a golden opportunity to come out of this with no permanent conviction record, since eventual expungement is technically possible at your age. However, if the negotiations are not handled in a technically proper fashion, this option may not be available to you. You therefore owe it to yourself to hire and attorney and do all you can to avoid a criminal record, which would haunt you for the rest of your employment career (since all criminal records are now available to employers online).
